DARE Charity Golf Day 2006 - Rufford Park Golf Club: Friday, 19th May
The DARE Charity Golf Day is returning in 2006 to build on the huge success of the 2005 day, which was held at Rufford Park Golf Club. We are giving previous supporters of the DARE Charity Golf Day the first opportunity to book for the 2006 event.
The DARE Charity golf days provide a fantastic opportunity to network within the local business community, whilst helping to raise funds for an extremely important charity.
The DARE charity golf days provide DARE with a great deal of funding to continually work towards there goal; to provide young people with the information and life skills they need to make a healthy informed choice and live drug- and violence-free lives.
For those who don’t play golf but would still like to play a key role in helping the DARE charity to continue there good work, you can make a charitable donation by sponsoring a hole at one of the two remaining events.
This years DARE Charity Golf Day will take place on Friday, May 19th at Rufford Park . The date of the event has been moved in order to ensure a staggered calendar of Charity Golf Days throughout summer, 2006.
The format of the day will be as follows:-
Four ball team Stableford competition
- Best two scores to count - All four scores to count on two designated holes
- Maximum handicap allowance is 28 for men and 32 for ladies, then ¾ handicap
- Men will play from white tee markets and the ladies from red tees
Prizes will be on offer for each of the following:
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams
- Longest drive for both men and ladies and nearest the pin for both men and ladies
- Hit the green – Double your money
- Putting competition

Costs:-
Teams of four – men, ladies, or mixed are invited to play at a cost of £180 plus VAT per team. This price includes all green fees, coffee on arrival and a buffet meal. Buggies are available at an additional cost upon request. Hole sponsorship costs £40 per hole.
